Hello. I am Liliane Grace, a mother, writer, speaker and teacher. The Mastery Club was an utter joy to write because it brought together two of my favourite interests: writing fiction and conscious creation.
Jazmyn wrote to me on the 17th August, asking:
hi.my goal is winning the school spelling bee . Is that to hard?
I said:
I don't believe anything is necessarily too hard (unless it's a silly thing like wanting to be able to walk on water), but the answer to your question is 'it depends':
- it depends on your level of ability now (going from 2 out of 10 in most of your spelling tests to winning is possible but will take a lot of work and commitment, whereas if you usually get 9 out of 10 it's probably a pretty easy goal, so what is your starting point?)
- it depends on how much you want it and if you will take some action on your goal rather than just dreaming about it. Holding the vision and affirming and treasure maps are all good but they're not enough. You also have to practise spelling every day and get tested every day and work towards mastery of the skill level you will need, etc. Are you prepared to do that?
- it depends if you will do what it takes to build your confidence so you are relaxed in front of the whole school while being tested. That takes a lot of courage and calmness and focus, so it's another aspect of this particular goal to be taken on. Are you?
Let me know! I'm very interested.
And she wrote back on 23rd December to share this news:
thank you!
I came 2nd!
regards Jazmyn
Well done, Jazmyn! (I wonder what she'll take on next...)
